• $5,000 stipend for the three finalists to participate in Stage II

Stage II

• The Grand Winner will receive a monetary award in the amount of $10,000.
• The urbanSHED International Design Competition sponsors will seek to fabricate and install the winning project on a job site in Lower Manhattan.
• The NYC Buildings Department plans to issue an OTCR (Office of Technical Certification and Research) Bulletin establishing the winning sidewalk shed design as an approved standard that can be used by industry.
